Leave the beach gear at home
Chairs, umbrella, a shade tent, towels and a beach bag are already here, by the door, included. So are the crib, the high chair and the walker. None of it costs extra and none of it has to come through the airport with you.
The sand is a one minute walk from the lobby. 5th Avenue, with somewhere different to eat every night, is around the corner the other way.
What parents actually ask us
Where does everyone sleep?
A king in the master with its own bathroom and balcony, and two queen beds in the second bedroom with its own bathroom. Six people, two bathrooms, no queue.
Is the pool safe for little ones?
The resort pool has a wide shallow section they can stand up in, and the swim-up bar is right there for the grown-ups. It is low-key and overlooked rather than a party pool.
Can we cook for them?
A remodeled kitchen with a full oven, a full dishwasher and a blender, and a supermarket nine minutes away on foot. Useful when nap time and dinner time collide.
Do we need a car seat and a taxi?
No car needed at all. Beach, restaurants, shops and pharmacy are all walkable, and airport pickup is included on stays of seven nights or more.
Is the water alright?
Filtered drinking water from its own tap beside the kitchen sink, and a water softener on the whole condo, so bottles and baths are one less thing to think about.
What about naps?
Independent air conditioning in each bedroom, air purifiers that double as white noise, and room-darkening shades.
